COMMUNITY CHORUS
BE A PART OF SOMETHING AMAZING THIS FESTIVE PERIOD!

FREE TO PARTICIPATE *** ALL ARE WELCOME *** FEATURE IN THE PANTO *** DECEMBER PROJECT

Hambledon Productions, in collaboration with Louth Riverhead Theatre, is looking for participants of the Louth Playgoers Society and the performers across Lincolnshire to partake in an exciting, one-off, digital project, rehearsed and recorded safely under Covid-19 measures.

We are thrilled to be producing the family pantomime ‘Mother Goose’ in January, but we understand that many performers will be upset that amateur productions are unable to take place over the festive period. So, we are creating this huge, digital project, which we’re calling ‘Community Chorus’ .  There will be no audition process for this; we want as many people as possible to get on board!

Via Zoom, the Community Chorus will rehearse an ensemble musical number (led by MD Christopher Peters). After a group rehearsal on Sunday 13th December (time TBC), the performers can then submit their voice recordings to us (deadline Sunday 20th December). We’re also sharing this project with Studio 2000 Dance Academy, who will stage a dance number to accompany the vocals. The whole song-and-dance routine will then be screened as part of the live performance of 'Mother Goose' every night.

Anyone who wants to partake but is unfamiliar with either Zoom or the recording aspect, don't let this prevent you getting involved. We'd be delighted to assist you and we have undertaken similar projects to a high standard in the past.

To register, please email [email protected] by 10th December.

Thank you and lets make this project something extra special for December!
